Nothing polishes off a bridal look like classic jewelry. These incredible pieces were provided by Hamilton Jewelers, located just around the corner from Nassau Inn. We can't get enough of this engagement ring with an oval center stone. It is totally on trend while remaining just traditional enough to be timeless and beautiful for a lifetime.
When considering your wedding day jewelry and accessories think beyond just the engagement ring and wedding band. Hamilton jewelers can also help select the perfect wedding gifts for one another like these classic pieces for him and timeless pearl earrings for her. They too will finish of your wedding day look perfectly and last an entire lifetime together as reminder of your wedding.
a warm welcome
All guests at Nassau Inn are greeted with exceptional hospitality, especially those staying in the Dolly Madison and Rockwell Suites. But for this shoot, Homestead helped us to create an extra sweet welcome for wedding guests with mementos of the amazing location and a few comforts of home to make their stay memorable. They even included other Princeton vendors located right in Palmer Square like Thomas Sweet!
Every single thing about this welcome gift makes us want an invitation to this wedding!
glam squad
A good glam squad is key to looking and feeling your best on your wedding day. It also helps to have an intimate space to get ready with your closest friends and family. It really could not be any easier for Nassau Inn brides to enjoy every second of their wedding day. The simplicity of being in Palmer Square surrounded by so many incredible vendors takes the stress out of day of activities like hair and makeup. Brooke had the incredible experience of Amy and her amazing team from Salon Pure to glam her up. The girls were happy to come over to Nassau Inn but their salon also offers the best setting for getting ready with your bridesmaids the day of. It is a perfectly cozy and modern salon that makes you feel right at home with the most adorable view of Palmer Square and the fountain.
wedding day looks
A classic wedding day look makes for timeless photos you will cherish for a lifetime. Our beautiful couple kept it classy and sophisticated in their modern, yet traditional looks. The Pronovias gowns from Castle Couture were breathtaking with just the right amount of detail, sparkle, and glamour.
Chazmatazz outfitted our dapper groom in modern but classic tuxes that perfectly complimented the gowns, and incredible accessories from Hamilton Jewelers. We love that he also rocked a ceremony and reception look. Who said outfit changes were just for brides, right?
It is hard to decide which of the looks is even our favorite. They were both so perfect for the setting!
Courtyard ceremony
One of the most incredible parts of being in the heart of Princeton is Palmer Square itself. There wasn't a more perfect backdrop we could think of than the existing facade. Right at the center of everything is Nassau Inn's quaint courtyard which is front and center to the buzz of the square by day and filled with twinkling trees by night. For this ceremony, it was a no brainer to setup outside and allow guests to soak it all in. However, if outdoor weddings aren't your style Nassau Inn offers other options for indoor ceremonies as well.
Because we loved everything about our surroundings, we kept the backdrop for this couple completely clear except for the custom Princeton-esque monogram that appears to float right at the center of the ceremony. The combination of the modern Vision Furniture Opus chairs, gold sequin runner, and plexi backdrop with metallic gold detail are perfectly complimented by the incredible floral arrangements and statement pieces by Dahlias's. Adriene, the owner, also created the perfect bouquet with cascading ivy, a Princeton staple that we showcased a little earlier.
Everything about this makes us want to get married! What about you?
Ride in style
Wedding day style doesn't stop with your wedding dress and tux. The car that you arrive and leave in also makes an impact on your big day and overall experience. We love this classic Rolls Royce from A1 Limo for a timeless and certainly memorable ride to or from your Princeton wedding. It made heads turn as it sat parked in front of the historic Nassau Inn making for a movie star experience for our couple. The old fashioned just married sign with a modern twist is reminiscent of something your parents or grandparents may have had and makes for the sweetest photo opp.
impeccably plated
Everything about this wedding felt luxurious and high end including the food and service provided by Nassau Inn. From start to finish guests are surrounded by elegance, greeted with champagne and delicious, well crafted food selections leaving them spoiled by the constant attention and white glove service. And yes, it does all taste as good as it looks. Take a scroll down to see some the entrees!
The new black tie
We love a good outfit change, especially when it looks like this!
The classic ivory tux with black lapel from Chazmatazz and beautiful beaded Pronovias gown are swoon worthy and glamorous. This take on a traditional black tie wedding maintains the high end look and timelessness that is expected while adding a fresh and modern feel to the historic setting. Black tie isn't just for your parents and their friends anymore!
In these looks this couple makes for some serious couples goals!
A modern approach to a historic ballroom
All throughout Princeton you find a marriage of old and new. So when entering the Nassau Inn ballroom we felt it was important to follow through with the decor in the same way. Modern details throughout the design enhance the historic architecture and the incredible view to the streets below while also adding a timelessness to atmosphere.
Vision Furniture's smoky lucite chairs with classic silhouettes, surprising sequin detail on the otherwise traditional ivory linen, and timeless white arrangements all work together with the formal place settings to create a high end but still exciting feel within the space. The mirror reception table and clear Opus chairs bring the unexpected to another level while the candlelight adds romance to the design. Everything is tied together with custom handmade details like the clear and black menu cards made by Lace and Belle.
what dreams are made of
Let us all just take a moment and swoon over this custom marble dance floor by Bombshell Graphics. With one simple design detail like this dance floor cling the entire room changes and becomes fresher and more modern. It also entirely customized the space to this couple and their individual wedding style. All you need is a little Bombshell Graphics and a Pronovias gown to make guests' jaws drop at the start of a reception and keep them dancing throughout the night.
sweet ending
From start to finish there was not one detail that was not thought of and carried through including the cake. This custom marble cake with gold detailing by Caketeria perfectly finished off the evening. A great cake can add to the decor and overall style of your wedding. So finding a great bakery like Caketeria is key! We love how this cake stood as a showpiece in the room until it was time a sweet ending the night.
